The Epoche Network is the response to a gradual decline in dental professionalism, towards a commercial dynamic lacking professional ethics.

The Epoche logo has not gained prominence in the dental field because its backed by a huge marketing effort, but because its respect for science has been recognised by the international scientific community, as you can see from these References.

We are not, therefore, seeking entrepreneurs, because it isn't ethical to create unfair competition, but merely "raising dentist's awareness of the need to invest in their professional image by undertaking training and courses in innovative technologies.

Attention is paid to the transfer of know-how that has been built up over 25 years of experimental research in neurophysiology and trigeminal electrophysiology laboratories, who coined the description Functional Neuro Gnathology (NGF method) which is applicable to the orthodontic disciplines, prosthetics and implant prosthetics. This move follows a Franchising formula for the simple reason that it allows you to make a free choice of totally motivated individuals, to protect the knowledge itself and at the same time, to drive network towards an "Intelligence Ethics".

WHAT IS THE ADDED VALUE OF MEMBERSHIP?

  • The Science: The focus and specificity of trigeminal electrophysiological technologies that will be transferred to the dentist are the professional added value of patient retention, and a simultaneous increase in the number of social media followers, based exclusively on obtaining information about the medical and psychological well-being that results from having a physiological bite.                                                                                                                                                                                                                

  • Training: The training course is divided into three parts, addressing orthodontics, prosthetic restoration and experimental aspects. The training consists of a two-year theoretical and practical course in orthodontic techniques and trigeminal electrophysiology methods Entry Level. Training in Restoration will mainly address prosthetic implants and profiles using a two-year theoretical and practical training course, and a trigeminal electrophysiology skills training that subseqently enables a dentist to perform Neuro Rehabilitation work on the masticatory system. Take the Neuro-Gnatological skills training course required in the fields of Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders. This training course is called Basic Level and differs from the previous course not only in content, but also because of the differences in instrumental equipment on offer. The final level of membership has a research profile, aimed at Universities, Specialist Centres and/or Epoche Pilot Centres, and is called the Advanced Level.   • The Technology: To be at the cutting edge, and offer technologically exclusive treatments to their patients, the Franchisee will have an electromyography (EMG) machine for evoking potentials in their office which is normally only used in neurophysiopathological laboratories. The most important difference between Entry Level and Basic Level is the type of EMG equipment used. The first is a two-channel EMG for evoked potentials, a surface EMG and a needle fitted with a single electric stimulator, whilst the second is a four-channel EMG for evoked potentials, a surface EMG and a needle fitted with two electrical stimulators.                                                                                                                                                                                          

  • Telemedicine: Creation of a Telemedicine Centre, in which patient data will be transferred into ASCII codes and analysed via a Mathlab platform, will allow the dentist to have medical support for problematic cases, and enable continuous development within the system. The bioengineering algorithms and statistical data are best handled by trained personnel and are appropriately housed at the Telemedicine Centre.
